Realife Church was born on May 6, 2007. What began with a need, was birthed into a vision for Greenfield and it’s surrounding communities. Pastor Adam and Kristin Detamore formed a team of families to begin to reach this community with relevant ministry, engaging worship, and an emphasis on relationship.
In the first year, Realife met at Greenfield Central High School setting up and tearing down each week. Towards the end of our first year, we learned another church in town was closing it’s doors and wanted to give us their building and land debt-free.
We moved into our Highway 40 location in the Spring of 2008. God began to grow our church body from 125 to over 600 people each weekend. We’ve seen nearly 2,000 people surrender their lives to Christ during this time. We believe the best is yet to come as we continue to create a place people love so they can experience a loving God.

What we do
Realife Church exists to create a place people love so they can experience a loving God.
how we do it
Our weekend services are for people at all stages in their spiritual journey but are primarily designed for those who do not yet have a genuine relationship with God.
Any trip is more fun if you travel with friends, and the same is true of your spiritual journey. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. It is through Small Groups that we experience the close relationships that help us take the next steps in our walk with God. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Small Groups exist - to make these
life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
All of us were created by God to make a difference in the world around us. God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can impact the lives of others. We believe your life will never make sense until you find, develop, and fulfill your purpose.
We believe God has always had it in His heart to take people on a four-step spiritual journey to:
Know God - Through experiencing God in our Sunday services.
Find Freedom - Through personal connection through Life Groups.
Discover Purpose - Through Growth Track
Make a Difference - Serve on a Dream Team
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
All believers receive the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God) when they receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives at salvation. However, believers are also entitled to and should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe this was the normal experience of Christ followers in the early Christian Church. With the Holy Spirit baptism comes power for life and service.
The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we repent of sin, confess Jesus as Lord, and turn from our self-ruled life, we are saved.
All through the centuries since the time of the apostles, there have been individuals who had faith in God for the healing of their bodies, and where New Testament faith has been found, miracles have taken place. We believe Jesus paid the price for divine healing through the atonement…and with His stripes, we are healed.
THE BLESSED HOPE
The blessed hope of the church is the rapture or the “catching away” of the church. The Bible teaches that at the time of the rapture of the church, living Christians will be changed; those whom have died in Christ will be raised in glory; all Christians will forever be with the Lord, and we should be comforted with this truth.
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
